Presentation
Piazzolla’s universe, in which melancholy and vital longing not only cohabit but mutually nurtureeach other in an exchange that is constantly revisited and renewed, could not be reduced to a narrow definition of tango. Having become, in the broadest sense, the expression of the Argentine soul in alli ts diversity, in the image of teeming Buenos Aires, it irrigates the pieces, so different yet so related, of Christelle Abinasr’s recital, who felicitously explores paths that are still ill-known.
